Moving from Massachusetts to Vermont in the early 2000s, Lorin leveraged her marketing and hospitality background in founding VermontWeddings.com, the state’s premier online wedding planning resource and a comprehensive directory of over 1,000 local businesses. Through this platform, she connected countless couples with vendors, simplifying wedding planning and fostering connections and creative solutions among couples. She also consulted with Vermont wedding businesses to enhance their marketing strategies, reaching wedding planning couples both in-state and beyond.

Lorin excels at guiding people toward their goals. As a senior account manager at MyWebGrocer, she facilitated smooth communication between clients and the internal team of developers and project managers. During the pandemic, she helped small businesses adapt and stay competitive through the Vermont Small Business Recovery Technical Assistance Program, funded by the Vermont ACCD. Her skill in connecting with others and navigating change underscores her commitment to helping individuals thrive amid constant change.

As a Realtor, Lorin applies her extensive experience to guide home buyers and sellers through the often emotional and complex process of buying and selling real estate. Understanding the significant financial and personal transitions involved, her ability to connect with clients and help them assess their options to make an informed decision makes her a valuable ally when navigating the market. 

Lorin’s community involvement includes roles with organizations such as the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, Christ the King School in Burlington, and Rice Memorial High School’s Stunt Nite Fundraiser, as well as the Vermont Association of Wedding Professionals. She currently serves on the board of the Dorset Farms Homeowners Association in South Burlington and previously served on the Strathmore Homeowners Association (Appletree Point) in Burlington.
Outside of real estate, Lorin enjoys an active lifestyle that includes telemark skiing, snowboarding (previously a snowboard instructor at Sugarbush Resort), and paddle boarding. On rainy days, she can often be found refinishing thrifted furniture and swooning over “Before and After” videos.
